Can Stress Cause Dry Eyes?

The short answer is stress and dry eyes do have an interesting relationship with one another.

The human nervous system stimulates glands to produce a tear film, much like the response of crying.

Post Traumatic Disorder has been implicated as one cause of Dry Eye.

There are also responses of JOY which produce “Happy Tears”  Living a life of gratitude, and the experience of Joy or Gratitude can be transformed from any perception of Stress in life.

One just requires the guidance to transform our thinking of any experience of stress to find the Gifts of the experience.  The result is an experience of seeing through the heart.
